つつじ祭り Azalea Matsuri at 根津神社Nezu Shrine

Late April for a short time Azaleas get to full bloom and most famous spot in Tokyo to see them is Nezu shrine. Don't be too late or too early as for this spot it makes a huge difference to see them in full bloom (beautifully coloured scenery) or not (neat spot but basically a sea of green bushes). Location: Nezu Jinja is easy to reach by Chiyodaline. Exit at Nezu, take Exit 1 and follow the signs.
