あじさい at Kamakura

Mid of June Kamakura area offers some nice spots to see Hydrangea. Meigetsuin and Engakuji temple as well as Hase dera for instance.

Location: From Kita-Kamakura station Engakuji and the - regarding hydrangea by far more impressive - Meigetsuin temple are just a view minutes walk. After those I'd recommend walking to Kamakura station (with some hydrangeas on your way if you take the right path) and then by train to Hase station for hase dera. Beware though that it will be crowded and they might stop selling numbered tickets for hase dera in early afternoon.
