Myoraku-ji: Ajisai in Tama-ku

End of June: Kamakura is way too crowded or too far but still want a temple-like environment for Ajisai? Want to be virtually alone to admire them without being pushed further by the crowds or stressed by umbrellas in the rainy season? Myoraku-ji is close to Tokyo and provides a stunningly beautiful setting.

Location: Myorakuji is a 20 minutes walk through suburbian Tokyo from Shukugawara station. In case you don't mind taking busses there might be easier solutions from Mizonukuchi station though. It's about 1h from central Tokyo.
