Mitama Matsuri

13th-16th Jul. Held at Yasukuni Shrine the four day festival is a lively mixture of tens of thousands lanterns, Obon dance, mikoshi action, music and some food stands as they come with every matsuri (though there are not so many at this event). The lights bring an awesome atmosphere.

The shrine is a 5-minute walk from Kudanshita Station (Hanzomon Line, Shinjuku Line, Tozai Line).
