Kuki Chochin Matsuri

12-18th July: Not only Tokyo provides big matsuri events - head for Kuki in Saitama (1h trainride from Tokyo station) for the Chohin Matsuri which is held one week long but parade will be on two days only. Info can be found here. A vast array of food stalls and beautifully lit up lanterns wait. Make sure to be there shortly before it gets dark.

Location: Kuki Station, about 50 min by train on Utsunomiya Line from Tokyo station.
