July 27th/ 28th - One of the bigger OBon Matsuris in late July from 6pm at Ebisu station.
It's a rather crowded event so be prepared. Start is around 18:00 and it finishes at 21:00 - although 2018 they finished at least 15 minutes later, which is notable. Happily they again had their "Champs-Elysee" performance, which contrasts somewhat with what happens before, to finish the event this year.
Location is easy to find: Take west exit at Ebisu station (e.g. Hibiya Line, Yamanote Line)
