Harajuku Omotesando Super Yosakoi - 夜さ来い祭り

24th and 25th of August. On two days in late August there is one of the biggest Yosakoi events in Tokyo, the Harajuku Omotesando Super Yosakoi. On Saturday the 6.000 participants will parade along Yoyogi Park Avenue in Shibuya passing NHK headquarters, on Sunday Omotesando avenue will be the venue. The event runs all day from 10am to 6pm - if you can stand the heat. Though Omotesando is the more famous venue, I'd recommend watching at NHK.

Location: You can walk from Meji-jingumae (Harajuku) Station or from Shibuya Station using Hachiko Exit on Sturday or exit Omotesando Station and follow the crowds on Sunday.
